Dallas F Bayless
Dallas has been teaching instrumental music in public schools since 1998 serving in Great Bend/KS, Cache/OK, McAllen/TX, Wichita Falls/TX, Burkburnett/TX, and Melissa/TX. He holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Cameron University in Lawton, OK and a Masters degree in Music Theory/Composition from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. Dallas has served on the design team for Racine Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, the instructional staff with Forte Drum & Bugle Corps, and both the instructional staff and design team for Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps. He is currently the Assistant Band Director at Melissa High School in Melissa, TX where he designs and instructs the Mighty Cardinal Marching Band, directs the Symphonic Band, and teaches music theory, beginner trumpets, and beginner horns.
Our Story
Works
Dallas has written dozens of marching shows for bands across the state of Texas. He has designed and arranged drum corps productions for both Open Class and World Class corps.
Dallas has one concert march, "Zundelowitz March", published through TRN Music; the remainder of his catalogue is privately published (check them out in the services tab).
